CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

Meaningful content is no different than a meaningful conversation. If you don’t have substance then you can always rely on the tricks of the social media trade. Sure, you’ll make some money but it’s really no different than selling a product that breaks as soon as customers takes it out of the box.

Knowing how to communicate to a particular audience and when to deliver that content is the key factor in traditional broadcast programming, something social media could learn from. Success is having your reach (volume for viewers) and frequency (how often) down to a science.

Lindgren Media producers first have the media outlets in mind before ever starting a project, simply because each format is different: a video made for Facebook should never be the same as one designed for X, because viewers know the difference. Distribution strategy is part of the production since even the best-made promotion will fail without the proper distribution. Interestingly enough, the opposite is true as well: the art of storytelling can maintain and grow an audience, even with poor distribution, over time. The ideal strategy is a quality promotion to fit the designated distribution.

Working with the Institute for Coordinated Community Response (ICCR) under the Conference on Crimes Against Women (CCAW) banner, Lindgren Media assisted with a series of educational videos for law enforcement to better understand the motives and patterns of perpetrators of sexual assault, rape, and domestic violence. When producing this series with real law enforcement agencies and leading experts in their fields, a bottom-up approach was used for a significant portion of the content development and scripting, through preliminary interviews with investigators, judges, attorneys, advocacy professionals, and victims from both current and cold cases. Although AI can work magic and clean up a sentence, real-life stories and seasoned professionals are still the originators and must be the first approach to meaningful productions. Developing Content for Traditional Outlets
I’ve often heard Internet show producers say that traditional broadcast is dying, but I would suggest otherwise. It remains a significant resource that fuels and supports social media. With millions of daily viewers on the Internet, broadcast programming content is in great demand, even after reaching millions of viewers via free-to-air RF broadcast. The largest share of noteworthy programming still originates from the broadcast industry.

All broadcast productions are reviewed and fully vetted to save our customers time and money. Services may include in-studio mute-camera settings, field location reality production setups, animations, 3D imaging, professional on-air talent, original music, and distribution formatting and delivery. Below is one of many photos used in the Texas Cowmen documentary Lindgren Media produced for Texas broadcast stations and Texas Cowboy Museums, titled: Cowmen, Texas Founders & Descendants. It is the first of a four-part series about Texas Ranches. Funded by the Gerald Noble Family, the Scharbauer Family, and other Texas Ranchers

Developing Content for Non-Traditional Outlets
The Internet opened a whole new world for low- and mid-range producers and projects, bringing a new level of creativity, subjects, and a lot of daily interaction. Lindgren Media finds the appropriate settings and audience for your new Internet show. With a very wide range of viewer groups, programming topics, and budgets, no show is too small or too large to tackle in a short amount of time. Call today for a free consultation.

Not all marketing looks like marketing. For the Texas Cowmen project, Lindgren Media produced 100% of the content from start to finish. Our goal was to bring light to the ranching industry in Texas, and to do that we teamed with four different ranches all over the state to create a documentary that would be played on local stations. Sometimes marketing comes in the form of education. It’s all about getting your message to your audience.

TNA
The Texas Nurses Association is an organization that has been a staple of the medical industry for more than 100 years. In an effort to bring attention to this absolutely essential association, Lindgren Media is developing print and video content for a documentary to be premiered on local stations across Texas. The documentary, "Faces of Nursing", explores the evolution of nursing and its impact on how we view and experience the medical care system. Beyond that, Lindgren Media is developing assets for a mobile app that will connect the members of the Texas Nurses Association in a way they have never been connected before. Over the past decade, Lindgren Media has created 20+ videos a year to promote the TNA District 9 Top 20 Nurses at the annual Celebration in Houston, TX.
